Safeguarding

Protecting the Vulnerable

Our Commitment to Safeguarding

Responding faithfully to this universal call, the Good Shepherd Congregation embraced this responsibility and introduced a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy across all its global provinces in 2018.

Following this mandate, the Sri Lankan Province undertook this vital challenge, initiating the implementation of safeguarding frameworks throughout our own local ministries and institutions. Today, our journey extends far beyond legal compliance — we are actively moving beyond the written policy to live out a deep spiritual commitment, honoring the sacred dignity of every individual, fostering a culture of mutual care, and ensuring safe, nurturing environments for all.
